Mychael has had a keen interest in middle schools since serving as an interim principal, while serving as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  Focusing on teaching and learning and the unique challenges our middle schoolers face, has been a passion of his since that experience.  Mychael is also the President-Elect of the Virginia Middle School Association.
